Birthday Presents!!!!

Peter's birthday is coming up, so the last time we were at his parents house, they went ahead and gave him his presents.  Being the good blogger that I am ;) I took pictures of him opening said presents!

He was very excited to get a Deseret Book gift card.

Saturday, we went to St George.  We went to the Temple and then just sort of meandered.  We met up with a couple of our friends and wandered with them a little while they did their wedding registries.  I let on that I was buying his b-day presents while in St George, and he decided he wanted to open them that night.  I was a little self-conscious about what I had gotten, so I let him do it.

I gave him Bath and Body Works cologne and a pink tie, both of which he says he really likes.

He decided to wear his new pink tie to church the next day, and I told him I wanted a picture of him in it after church.

His actual birthday hasn't quite arrived yet, so there may be more birthday fun to post about soon!

April Fun!

Man, April has been busy, and has just flown by!  It seems like Spring Break wasn't that long ago, and now it's time for finals!  We are still working on our job hunt, too, but we are excited that school is ending.  Soon we will be in SC once more! In the mean time, I am planning a Wedding Shower for my friend Carly.  She's a sweet pea, and I'm so excited for her and Adam!

Okay, I was trying to write more words than I usually do, but I find that difficult for some reason.  Maybe if I posted more, I would find more things to talk about lol.

Now on to the pictures!

This picture is from when we went to the Voice Male Concert.  It was so fun!  Those guys have boatloads of talent.  After the concert we watched a movie with a couple of our friends.

This past weekend we went to Salt Lake, and Peter's parents gave him some early birthday presents!

Easter!

The Saturday before Easter, we decorated eggs with Paul and Kylee.  It was really fun!

Peter made a minion egg which turned out super, super cute!

Then Sunday, we made a special Easter dinner.  We had ham, rolls, and green beans.  Paul, Kylee, and Angelica brought over mashed potatoes and devilled Easter eggs!  You may not be able to tell, but the rolls were supposed to look like bunnies.  I didn't know how the oven would affect them, and I wanted them documented, so here they are pre-cooked:

Not entirely sure what Peter is doing here--looks like he's wiping off the table lol.

 And here they are post-baking!

Okay, so they aren't the most attractive bunnies in the world... :)

Here is our crock-pot cooked ham!  It was good, but very fruity because it was cooked in apple cider and orange peel.
